Joy and Light Mandala - Polymer clay assemblage. Bohemian, healing, sculpted wall decor. Original, one of a kind art mosaic.

Mandalas are a way to bring healing to the creator and the observer. I worked on this one for several days taking breaks in between to work on other pieces until it felt complete. 

Many layers of clay, inks, paints and pastels.  Hand carved and layered and topped off with hand embellished charms and turned copper color wire.  Baking in the colors and clay pieces in stages adds to the durability and resilience of the piece and the colors.  

I do not have a formula for these creations.  I start with a mood and let the creation take shape. The process makes each piece truly unique and one of a kind. Baked in many stages and finished with a sealant.  Copper colored infinity wire attached for easy hanging.  Durable and resilient  and easy to clean if necessary! 

I have been working in a new medium and I am loving the colors and textures.

 I use high quality, professional grade materials for each piece.  Please allow for minor imperfections as these are all hand sculpted.
