Imagine - Clay Sculpted and Painted on Cradled Panel. Bohemian, Folk, Rustic, Primitive. White with colorful flowers.

This is a sculpture that I did mounted on a cradled gesso panel.  Lots of layers and texture. Made of hand formed polymer clay and embellished with paint, inks, pastels and glazes.  The whole piece is three dimensional.  The actual panel measures 5 " x 5 " x  3/4 " but with the clay it is slightly larger and is over one inch thick.  It is fairly light weight and not overly fragile. Since the panel is cradled it is ready to hang right on the wall.  Sides are finished with a faded aqua. Signed and stamped on the back.

I do not have a formula for these creations.  I start with a mood and let the creation take shape. The process makes each piece truly unique and one of a kind. Baked in many stages and finished with a sealant.  All materials are archival, professional grade.  Durable and resilient  and easy to clean if necessary! 

I have been working in a new medium and I am loving the colors and textures.

Made with polymer clay and painted and embellished with many different mediums including pastels, paint, alcohol inks and markers.  I use high quality, professional grade materials for each piece.  Please allow for minor imperfections as these are all hand sculpted. Can be cleaned if necesary with a soft cloth (like a t shirt)
