Healthy Soul Boundaries Mandala - Polymer clay assemblage. Bohemian, healing, sculpted wall decor. Original, one of a kind art mosaic.

I have been working on mandalas as part of my healing process and in the hopes that my intentions pass into the art.  This last week or so I have been working on creating and encouraging healthy boundaries.  Cutting toxic cords and forming healing protection from drama and trauma. Mandalas are a way to bring healing to the creator and the observer. I worked on this one for several days taking breaks in between to work on other pieces until it felt complete. 

Many layers of clay, inks, paints and pastels.  Hand carved and layered and topped off with turned copper color wire for easy hanging.  Baking in the colors and clay pieces in stages adds to the durability and resilience of the piece and the colors.  Because the colors are layered in many stages it is difficult to capture the depth in photos. 

I do not have a formula for these creations.  I start with a mood and let the creation take shape. The process makes each piece truly unique and one of a kind. Durable and resilient  and easy to clean if necessary! 

I have been working in a new medium and I am loving the colors and textures.

 I use high quality, professional grade materials for each piece.  Please allow for minor imperfections as these are all hand sculpted.
